Mailbag: November 1, 2003

Mailbagging it baby…

"I know you're a connoisseur of both reality TV and the MTV network! I'm sure you've wanted to try out for the Real World and Road Rules at some point!  If you were to actually go through with it, what would your audition tape be!  And would you rather get picked for Real World or Road Rules!  Holla back with an answer!" - Stumbly Joe, NJ

 - Chris Toth, I have a question for you. When you write in, why use fake names and type like Rich Deochand with way too many exclamation points? When you email me from your work address your real name is up there when I open my Inbox. I will not play your game. And actually, MTV is casting the new seasons of RW and RR now. So what would I do to show them that I'd be a kick ass cast member? I'd make a fake MTV Diary show about me and bring them through a typical day in the life of Awesome. Get up at 2pm, sit on the couch for hours watching TV and playing video games, talk to people online, grab some Taco Bell, hit on some high school girls, and then go out to the bar and stare at hot chicks all night but never get the nerve to talk to them. And then I'd make fun of people behind their backs, of course. Who wouldn't want that kind of excitement on MTV? They could have a whole episode about me being indicted on a statutory charge I haven't committed yet but might if I'm put on the show. How's that for a deal, Bunim/Murray? Have my people call your people.

"Where is my shout-out for the link in my profile?"- Brian C, MI

 - I would like to take this moment to thank Brian C. and all others who have helped promote the awesomeness this site has become. Without you I wouldn't have all these sponsors, I wouldn't have my column featured in The Rolling Stone, I wouldn't have just signed a book deal, wouldn't have made over $200,000 last quarter alone and definitely would not have gotten into Brian's little sister's pants at that party he had at his house last year. So thanks people, thank you for everything. Brian, the picture to the right is for you in appreciation for all you have done. But seriously folks, tell your friends to tell their friends or I'll stab you.
